unlock pattern not working

Hi there,
My S8+ has just done this for the second time. Luckily i'd registered the phone on the Samsung find my phone, otherwise I don't think I'd be able to unlock my phone.
When it goes wrong, the lock screen pattern is not accepted, it no longer says to wait after a number of unsuccessful attempts to unlock and can't switch the phone off as you need to enter the unlock pattern, which it is not accepting!
Can anyone help please

When you experience these symptoms have you tested your device in safe mode?

I'm getting this message; "Can't unlock your phone. Remote unlock is off." Anything else I can try?

You could wipe the cache partition :

Wipe the cache is as such impossible:

I have the same issue. How do I fix this? Do you have a solution?

Pattern is no longer recognized, cannot restart or turn off the phone, cannot access it remotely from the find my phone samsung account as I get this message "Can't unlock your phone. Remote unlock is off."

What should I do?
