There should be a way you can block only the text and not the phone calls too.

At first I thought you were referring to the Do Not Disturb option, but I see that does have separate settings for calls and messages. Are you looking at the result of adding a call or text to the blocked sender list? I had never really thought about whether those were connected.

On second thought, perhaps Do Not Disturb is precisely what you're looking for. If you want the option to prevent a mindless series of text messages from intruding upon you important meeting or romantic night out, but want to know that the important phone call can still get through to you, you can accomplish this in Do Not Disturb by blocking one but not the other.

Just to clarify are you wanting to block all text message or just from specific numbers?
