Favorites album missing in Gallery after Pie update

My favorites albums is nowhere to be found after the new update. I've gone through some of my albums and the same pictures are still favorited, but i cannot find the favorites compilation albums

Hey @userDzwxOlnesG, I hope this makes your day better! To view your favorites, just swipe down from the gallery view. This will bring you your album categories. I have attached a screenshot for your reference.

I still do not have my favorites album.  I scroll down and it's not there.  Mmt other albums appear

This works when browsing photos in gallery. However, this capability is Not available when attaching photos to text messages. You are shown the entire, unfiltered collection tion of photos.  Seems like a major bug that this feature has been removed :-/
