Galaxy S9 Camera Mode switching issue

Ever since the android pie update whenever i switch to take video instead of photos it freezes as if encountering issues transitioning. Things finally go back to normal after 30-45 seconds.

Hey @usertTmaRNyEeB, that is definitely not normal.

 

  • Can you try clearing the system cache? (a guide can be found here.)
  • If clearing the cache doesn't work, you may need to clear the app data for the Camera app. This can be done by going to Settings>Apps>Camera>Storage>Clear data (This will default the camera app to default settings.)
