After the last update, I no longer have text message sounds from my phone if Bluetooth headset is connected. Most of the time, I have my Bluetooth connected and not in my ear. If someone calls, I can quickly answer the phone using the headset. I've been missing important text messages after the latest update. I took the phone to Sprint, and they had me do a factory reset. That did not fix the issue. They advised me to contact Samsung. PLEASE PUT OUT A PATCH TO FIX THIS ISSUE!
Having the exact same problem after yesterday's update. SO ANNOYING!!
Verizon, Galaxy S9, Model SM-G960U.
PS- the same thing actually happens when regular headphones are plugged in too. Not just bluetooth.
Can I please get your full model number and baseband version?
Are you passing this on to the appropriate department????? If so, do they even care???
I received another upgrade 2 days ago hoping it would fix the problem. Low and behold IT DIDN'T! This is getting so frustrating, as I am missing so many important texts.
Once again here is my info after the latest upgrade:
Sprint Galaxy S9
PLEASE have them fix this, or let me know if they can't so I can get another phone other than Samsung!
If you have tested with a second Bluetooth connect headset or device and the only issues are with the Plantronics headsets, then we can escalate for a feature request. We cannot guarantee that Feature Requests will become a part of the software. Based on the thread though it just looks like Plantronics headsets are not compatible
Hi Samsung Adam.
I have the Samsung u-flex 1A01 bluetooth headphones and I am having the same problem on my S10 plus.
It is incredibly annoying as like the other user stated I am missing text messages and emails all the time.
Yes I have tried everything suggested and nothing is working.
Surely if it was a software update that caused the problem then a new software update to fix the problem should be simple.
