S9 not updating

The newest update will download and begin, but when it reaches 30%, it crashes, the little Droid dies, and it says it couldn't update.

Yes, I have followed those steps, but as I said in the op, when the install (not the download) reached 30%, it crashes. I tried connecting to smart switch, but it didn't even say there was an available update. With a Samsung rep at best buy, we tried clearing the cache partition and trying the download again and it still failed. We also tried a factory reset which didn't help. He found that people posting on here and being asked for their imei and suggested we post here
