I recently noticed a problem with the 'Schedule Message' feature on my phone.
For the last year, the 'schedule message' texting feature on my phone has always worked.
If it's 945pm right now, and I set a text to be sent out at 10pm, at 10pm the text is sent. Whether my phone is in use or locked. 10pm it's sent.
But lately I've noticed if it's 945pm, and I set the text to be sent at 10pm, if I check my phone at (example 10:10pm), I'll see the text is still waiting for 10pm to arrive before sending, then notices it's now 10:10pm and shows the 'sending' icon before it finally sends at 10:10pm.
Anybody else having this problem or knows how to fix it?
Mines been working lately.
I sent a Tweet to the Samsung Support (@SamsungSupport) they respond faster on there than here.
They said it might be "Power Savings" option, so to disable that.
But I believe they also said to go into the Message App and clear the cache and data.
It temporarily clears all the messagaes in your inbox but after a few seconds it all comes back. Then I just had to put all the settings back to the way I liked it, and its been working since.
But like all things, back up first before doing that.
