Galaxy WatchCan I ask what exactly did the trick? I'm having the exact same issue. Put watch on charger overnight and in the morning it's only at 87%, it then fully charged when I resit the watch on the charger. I have the Samsung duo wireless charger.

Galaxy WatchI've been having the same problem and it seems related to fast charging from what i can tell. I bought that new dual charger where you can charge the phone and watch at the same time. It seems the watch only gets to about 87% and then stops. When i remove the watch and then put it back on, it does eventually get to 100% but the "finished_charging" light stays red - it never goes green.
I encountered a similiar issue when i used a fast charging dongle with the factory charger that came with the watch.
I think the Watch has issues with fast charging. I might have a defective watch so i'm going to get a different one and see if it has the same problems.

Galaxy WatchSorry for the delay in posting my follow up.
I uncovered (I beleive) the root of the issue. I bought a protective case for the watch and I beleive, the watch was overheating during charging, and this stopped charging at some point. When I took the case off, I noticed the watch charges just fine. I've since decided to not use the case.

Galaxy Watchmy watch does exactly the same but I have found my watch needs to be turned off to charge each night. It's frustrating because my watch face resets each day.
First world problem but I would love a fix if there is one
