Active 2 Illuminates During Do Not Disturb

I have DND set for evening and overnight. The screen illuminates every time I roll over/move in my sleep. Shouldn't DND prevent this? 

Curiously, my screen won't come on when I flip my wrist at awake times during DND -- seems to only happen overnight. 

How do I keep the screen OFF during sleeping hours?

I have the same issue. Before the latest big update DND would keep the watch from turning on, now it doesn't. You need to manually turn on Goodnight Mode now.

Can confirm what @ChevyMetal said, enable Goodnight mode on watch to disable screen wake up.
