Hello all, I've seen this posted a few times, but with no real answers or solutions. I have the LTE version of the Active 2 watch. However, since Samsung Health does not update without connecting to my phone via Bluetooth, I occasionally have to connect the two through Bluetooth. Whenever I do this, the watch deletes my text messages.
I have seen others posting to just 'clear the notifications'; however, this is not an option as I need the space on my watch for other things and need to delete them.
I'm beyond the return period that T-Mobile allows, so I am just stuck with this $430 piece of junk that I don't even want to use because of this issue. I have literally spent hours trying to find a solution and have spoken with multiple specialists from both Samsung and T-Mobile and neither party will take responsibility.
Someone PLEASE HELP!!!
What type of device are you using with your watch? Are you using the T-Mobile Digits program for your watch?
Just to clarify, does the watch when paired delete the messages off the watch or the phone?
If you are deleting messages from the watch, then when paired with the phone it should delete the same messages from the phone as Digits is using your phone number on both devices.
Ok... but it does not. It only deletes some, and the choices seem to be sporadic. Regardless, I would like it to STOP deleting all messages when paired. I do not want my text messages deleted.
How am I supposed to have space on my watch for say Spotify or other app memory?
This watch has been a nightmare.
I would recommend reaching out to your carrier for further assistance.
