Active 2 - Need help!!

Less than a month ago I gave up my Fitbit Versa for the Galaxy Watch Active 2.  It is overheating when on standalone, Nest Hello wont show pictures or video (it showed me a picture once and that was it), wont let me add a card to Samsung Pay (even though it works for my phone), charging it every 2nd day, and don't even get me started on the whole waiting for ECG to become available.

 

I used to be Samsung Galaxy all the way, but my husband got an Apple phone and the Series 5 Apple watch and OMFG, it is so much better.  

 

Please help me to make this watch what I thought it would be!!!!

Let's start with your device overheating in Standalone mode:

Whether you're using a phone, tablet, smart watch, or earbuds, all Galaxy devices have a set temperature range, where they operate at their best. While they may feel warm under certain conditions, like charging, this does not affect the device's lifespan or performance. However, if your devices get too warm, it could cause some issues. 

 

Note: Results and symptoms may vary depending on the device and model being used. Some instructions will not apply to certain devices.

My phone does go into cool down mode when this happens.  It's just a nuisance that everytime I am away from my phone this happens.

Have you attempted to reset the watch to see if that helps any?

I have reset the watch.  When I left the house this morning, was at 100% and now, it's 16%.  As soon as my watch goes into LTE mode, I get the cool down notifications and then it shuts off.  One of the reasons I got this watch was because I am supposed to be able to just leave my phone in my locker and still have my watch work.
