Active 2 stops recognizing exercise

I'll start an exercise on my watch manually, like running, and it will count down and appear to begin tracking. But about 10 minutes into vigorous exercise, I'll feel my watch vibrate, and it will say "workout detected", and start tracking from there, ignoring the previous 10 minutes of exercise. Any fixes for this? Thanks!

Re: Active 2 stops recognizing exercise

Hello, sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue with your watch. What you might want to do is turn off the auto detection for workouts so that it does not interrupt what you have already entered in manually. From the Samsung Health app go to Settings, then tap on "Workout Detection," then "Activities to detect." From here you can turn off the auto detection for all workouts.

I hope that helps.

Thanks, but I'm not seeing where that is. I go to settings, then I see "auto detect workouts " under advanced but it is grayed out.
