Samsung hasn't officially commented on an Active 2 successor, but new products are always showcased at Galaxy Unpacked events. Whether a new watch will release, I don't know. We'll have to wait and see.

I wanted to purchase the Active 2 but did not because of all of the negative reviews.  Will the Active 2 problems be fixed in the Active 3?  The problem I saw the most was not syncing with the phone.
