Any tips for newbie using the Galaxy watch 5?

I just bought my Galaxy 5 watch. Anyone else have this model & can give me some tips to help extend the battery life? Any cool apps that u recommend? FYI, I'm not athletic so none of those apps would be useful to me. Also, if I've got my phone on me, do I need the Bluetooth on at all times?
