Battery on Galaxy Watch Series depleted from 90% to 0% overnight

Last night, my Watch Ultra's battery unexpectedly discharged completely. It was approximately 90% charged before I went to bed, but upon waking, it was disconnected and powered off. I was unable to restart it because the battery was completely depleted.

This has not happened before. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?

Does the watch charge normally? This just happened to me the other day with my Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. At bedtime my watch was around 65%, woke up and it was off and wouldn't charge. What ended up working for me was a suggestion by another Samsung Care Ambassador. If the watch isn't charging, try tapping the center back of the watch a few times.

It charges normally. So I dont know what happened. This is the first time this has ever happened. I sleep with Mt watch on every night

I really couldn't say why it happened. It could indicate a battery issue. If it does occur again, taking your watch to a Samsung authorized service center, like uBreakiFix, might be the best option for troubleshooting/repair.

Happened to me too, about three nights ago. Mine had a little charge left, so it was in low power mode, but yeah: 100 to 3% in just a few hours.

While I appreciate Samsung's product offerings, I have observed recurring concerns regarding battery performance across their product lines. Despite the company's stated commitments, the persistent nature of these issues raises questions about their capacity or willingness to effectively address them.

I had a similar experience with my Galaxy Watch Ultra 2024 about a week ago. It was above a 50% charge when I went to bed and when I woke up the following morning, it had gone into low power mode with a charge below 15% for some unknown reason. I recharged it and it's been working fine ever since.

Has anyone else had an issue where the Watch 8 Classic went from 100% to 0% in 4 hours? Mine did while I was asleep last night.

Did you have sleep mode on? If you didn't you may have been activating your screen with movement in your sleep.

It was in sleep mode. I sent it in for repairs.
