Burns from Samsung Watch

I am a fan of Samsung products because of the success of galaxy phones, which I own. Being active all the time, bought my Samsung Galaxy watch - 46mm at Costco to track my sporting performance. One day I noticed a burn spot on my wrist. I asked my wife If she ever had something like it with her Apple watch,  Because I always had doubts on the heart rate reading technology, and the answer was no. Is my watch faulty or  is it a common problem oversight by Samsung? To dissipate the doubt, I googled the issue and voila many people had had the same issue.  Now I am more scarred to wear my beautiful watch as I need both hands to feed my family.15957253532986558519454494657488.jpgburned spot on my left wrist
