Hello,  I just got the samsung galaxy watch4 sm-r895u.   I am trying to figure it out.   I was looking at the watch's calendar and found that it is only syncing with my calendar on my phone (galaxy S7) up only  6 days in advanced.   This means the watch is not showing any appointments from my phone's calendar that are further than 6 days away.  This does not seem right or make sense.  There must be some setting that needs to be changed.  Also I can't seem to find a way to add an appoint only phone.   The only thing in the app and a thing that tells my phone to go to its calendar and I have to add the appointment on the phone.   This too doesn't make sense I have seen a video of someone being able to create an appointment on their Samsung watch that was an earlier model.   Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,  I got a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 for Christmas and I am trying to figure it out.   One thing I can't figure out in the calendar on the watch.   It is only syncing with my phone's  (a Samsung galaxy s7) calendar for 6 days.   This means that appointments that are more that 6 days in the future are not showing up on my watch's calendar.  This does seem right.  There must be a setting to change this. But I can't find it.
Also, I can't create a new appointment using only my watch.  The watch can tell the phone to open up it's calendar, but the watch can't create appointments itself.   This also does not seem right and I saw a youtube video where someone using an older Samsung Smart Watch was able to set an appoint on the watch.     Any help with this would be appreciated.

Yeah, thats exactly how the calendar and events tile works in Watch4. Perhaps you saw a video of a third party app that does more. They are available in the Play Store.

Yeah, I don’t think I have any tiles on my watch yet, or if I do I haven’t figured out how access them. I have to say I am surprised at the limitations of the Calendar app on the galaxy watch. You would think it could sync the entire calendar from the phone and add appointments to it from the watch. oh well.

Okay, now I am confused. One person says what I described is exactly how the calendar app works on the watch4, and another says its an error.
