Can s24u Unlock Galaxy Watch?

I was wondering if my S24 Ultra can unlock my watch automatically when wearing it using the unlock feature of the S24 Ultra, or do I have to unlock my watch with the passcode every time? I know with Apple, the phone unlocks their watch automatically, so a passcode is not needed.

Can Samsung phones do the same thing with Galaxy watches? If not, Samsung should implement that feature.

I don't think you can set the phone to unlock the watch, but you can set the watch to unlock the phone using Extend Unlock.

A small correction about extend unlock.  Putting on extend unlock to keep the phone unlocked when connected to the watch will not automatically unlock the phone.  You still need to initially unlock it by your unlock method, but if your connected device moves out of range and then back, you will have to unlock the phone again.  Extend unlock only keeps the phone unlocked when connected for 4 hours anyway, after which you will have to unlock via biometrics (if enabled) and after 72 hours you will have to enter your password or pin.  You will also have to unlock it after a missed call or message.

There is currently no way to automatically unlock your watch.  You have to do it manually but, you only have to do it once a day (or after you remove your watch and put it back on your wrist).
