ECG and BP on non-Samsung phones

Will this feature be released on non Samsung phones. Just bought a Samsung watch 3 for £360 expecting everything to work but can't get EGC or BP. Anyone know how to get these features on non Samsung, also got the LTE version and the watch still needs to be with the phone for calls and text. I'm even connected to a 4g network any fix for this I don't have a Samsung phone. Think I may have to return this and get my money back as its not worth the money without being able to get all features working!!!

I would like to hear an official response from samsung as to why ECG and BP is only available on samsung phones.

Same here. Especially as there are hacks floating around proving there is no technical reason for this.

<edit> I and most people on android use it to not being locked in willy nilly apple style.
