I have done the following to try and remove the calendar reminders on my Watch 6 Classic as shown in the picture below.

Turned on/off/on Wrist Detection
Turned off native calendar app notification
Notification Settings: Show alerts even when phone in use

What am I missing?
I don't want the calendar alerts and the only time this one shows up is when I am not wearing the watch. It is draining battery as a result.

My Watch 7 Ultra has the same settings as above, but does not have the calendar reminder issue the 6 Classic has. Thinking that it is a bug with the 6 Classic?

Please share your experience or if you have been able to fix this issue.

Thanks!

I just don't allow Samsung calendar to send any notifications to my watch or phone.  I use Google calendar and I do not need two notifications for the same event. That appears to have stopped notifications from Samsung Calendar on the watch.  Also, clear your watch cache partition.  It never hurts and can help.

I turned off the permission on the watch for the calandar app to receive or show notifications.

Much to my surprise, I was able to uninstall Samsung Calendar altogether on my S24U.
Not that it is a bad app, but like you, I use Google Calendar.

I'll try clearing the watch partician cache again and see if that helps.
The description for Wrist Detection is to turn it on so notifications don't appear when not wearing the watch. Thought that would cover it, but apparently not.

My watch 7 Ultra has the exact same setting as the 6 and no issues there.

I have noticed when  you have it set to not show notifications when not wearing the watch, if notifications come to the phone that have not yet been dismissed, they will appear on the watch when you put it back on your wrist.

Good observation. I believe that is how it is supposed to work as the watch reconnects to the phone when on your wrist and syncs the notifications.

The issue that I am having, is when the watch is not on my wrist, just sitting on my desk and I pick it up, it has the hidden notification that was there for a day or more eatong up battery. It is by that point, an old notification and not even relevantant anymore. The watch 6 is disconnected as I am wearing my 7 Ultra.

If the reverse is true, and I'm wearing the watch 6, I don't get the hidden calendar notification on the 7 Ultra. Same settings, same OS, same scenario. Just odd.

Are you sliding up on the huge X to dismiss it?

Have you rebooted the watch and/or cleared the watch cache partition?

Perhaps you should bite the bullet and make sure you have a backup and reset the watch.  Has this only been happening since the OneUI6.0 update?
