Hi all

So I've gotten into swimming this year and I've been experimenting with my GW3 to track what I'm doing.

I didn't find it anywhere written down, but I did learn that when on pool-swim, the watch registers my 180 degree change of direction as the end of a lap/beginning of new lap.  Ok, and I can see where to set the lap length.  Awesome.

The problem is outdoor swim.   I have done everything I can think of and my swim results are still not indicating the distance I've swam.  In fact, location is putting me stationary in the lake.  Its almost like it stops reading GPS location when I put on water lock.  But that's just a theory.

So, how do I make the watch measure my distance?   (PS - it measures it quite nicely and shows my route if I select a walking exercise, so I don't think its a phone or  Wear setting and maybe not a GPS setting either.  HELP?

PS - software is all up-to-date for Canada

Thanks
