Watch 7 Ultra:
When I press the action button the various exercise options are shown. This is working as expected. However, once I select and start an exercise the watch does not turn on Exercise mode. This only works as expected when the watch is connected to the phone, 24U and then the watch changes to exercise mode as it should.

I've seen online that Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra users have reported similar issues where **Exercise Mode** doesn’t activate properly after selecting a workout but I have not found a fix for this. 

Anyone else having this issue?

Sent the following report with system logs to Samsung Support.

**Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra - Exercise Mode Activation Issue**

The Watch 7 Ultra is designed to store exercise mode actions and function independently without requiring a constant phone connection.

When pressing the action button, the expected list of exercise options appears. However, after selecting and starting an exercise, **Exercise Mode** fails to activate unless the watch is connected to a phone via 24U.

When properly connected, the watch transitions into **Exercise Mode** as expected.

Several Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra users have reported similar issues online, where **Exercise Mode** does not activate properly upon workout selection. However, no known fix has been identified.

Please advise.

Could be a bug or something other issue not sure but you should get a reply from support

I have never had a single issue with exercise mode on my watch 7, but that doesn't help you.  The only complaints I have seen with regard to the exercise mode on the watch 7 is that for some, the screen turns off and the workout is truncated.  Since you already sent in error report, you just need to wait for them to get back to you.  In the meantime, if you have not cleared your watch cache, do so now and see if that helps.
