Galaxy Active Watch stopped working during swim

I went for my 2nd swim with my new active watch. I put it on the swim mode and started swimming. I felt it vibrate a few times and looked down to see that it had restarted. I tried the swim feature again after shaking off the water and it happened again, only this time it kept wanting to set up samsung pay and wouldn't let me do anything else. I turned it off, rinsed it with clean water, and dried it off with a soft towel and finished my swim without it. I tried to power it back on later and it won't turn on. I hooked it up to the charger and it was at 60%, so it wasn't a battery issue. It is charging now but still won't turn on. 

I just bought it less than 2 weeks ago. Any advice?

Were you swimming in the beach or in a swimming pool?

How long was the watch under water?

Less than 5 minutes. And I've used it once before in a pool with no issues

Assuming you're trying to help me, are you trying to say that it's defective? It's made for swimming

Are you able to see anything on the display when it is charging? Do you know if the software is up to date?

Just that it's charging and what percent it's at. The app said that it has the latest software update.
