Hello 👋

Recently I purchased the Galaxy Classic Watch 4 and noticed when I ride my stationary exercise bike that those steps are not being counted.

I am selecting the bicycle workout and will begin my workout after the 3 second count but when I finish the steps are zero. I do have Location and Improve Accuracy enabled as well as restarted the Watch.

I would appreciate any advice or assistance.

Thank you

Hello there!

I can understand how frustrating it can be for your steps to be not counted while on your exercise bike. There can be a few reasons why your steps are not being counted such as your watch band may not be snug on your wrist enough, or it could be a software update needed on your watch. I believe this troubleshooting guide here will help resolve your concerns. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01003204/

If your hand is stationary no steps will be counted. Secondly you are cycling and not walking. No steps should be counted. I don't believe they convert exercise into steps like Fitbit has done.
