Hi All,

Recently my Galaxy Watch 3 has stopped wear detection. Because of it, it no longer measure continuous heart rate and stress. Each time i have to manually measure them. Also, the watch gets locked every time. So I had to remove the PIN lock too. Also, when it detects workouts automatically, it does not display heart rate data in watch screen.

Previously , when i remove the watch from my wrist, it usually emits a green light from the sensor in the back, which I assume might be detecting the wear. But I can no longer see that light flickering when I remove the watch. I tried to reset/restart the watch, but nothing seems to be working.

If anyone had faced this issue or know about any solution, please let me know. I'm not sure, whether it is a Software Bug, or Hardware issue.

Thanks.

I would try to update the watch if there's any software update pending. And also resetting the watch.

@madman_4 On your watch, try this:

  1. Open Samsung Health
  2. Scroll to the bottom and click on Settings
  3. Find HR and stress measurement and click on it.
  4. Enable Measure continuously
