Galaxy WatchI have the GW4 Classic 46mm paired to a Z Flip 3. Just checked both phone and watch for software updates and none available. Located in US and software up to date. Not sure if others are having this problem but I have noted two areas of battery usage need some fixes. I do not use my watch for sleep so at the end of the day both watch and phone get turned off and placed on charger.
Problem 1: I typically get up around 4:00 - 4:30AM. Turn on put on watch and turn on phone. Make sure watch is connected to phone and grab a cup of coffee. I typically leave my phone near coffee machine and go up to second floor to my computer room so watch icon shows it disconnected from phone. A day last week I noticed the over a 2 hour period the watch drained to 89%. My WiFi on watch is set to Auto. When I checked the watch for Wifi it was not connected. My Wifi network is Netgear Orbi so next morning when I turned on both watch and phone. Gave it a few minutes checked the Orbi App for connected devices and the watch was not connected to WiFi. Manually connected the Watch Wifi refreshed the Orbi list and the watch was now on. Apparently what is happening to mine is everytime the watch loses Bluetooth connection it is also shutting down Wifi even though I am still on the same Wifi network. To check this I left the phone in another room walked to another room where I was sure that the disconnected icon shown on watch. Checked Wifi Watch setting and it was not connected to my network. Used my Ipad to check the Orbi device list and the watch was not connected. Summary: Auto connect Wifi not working. I believe due to Wifi not connected the watch is constantly polling for a connection which is causing the excessive battery drain.
Problem 2: Others have noted that exercise using GPS and music is excessively draining the watch. 90 minute exercise periods will drain 40 - 43% of watch. This week I have been staying around 60 minute exercise sessions and I am draining 30 - 36%. Seems a little high. I would expect an hour to be about 20 - 25% and 90 minutes more like 30 - 35%. Now both Garmin and Apple specs will show GPS times for their devices. Apple is 6 hours for GPS and music on the LTE version and the Garmin Fenix 6 Titanium 46mm I have is rated for 8 hours GPS with music. I have never seen anything published for a Samsung device. Would be beneficial for a purchaser to have this information.

Galaxy WatchI re-booted my watch today and the battery status improved. I use my GW4 46mm as partner to the phone (notifications, etc.), tracking all available health features, workouts, and spotify. Mine is increasing from 2 days to 3 days now.

Galaxy WatchThe battery life on this new Galaxy watch4 Classic is HORRIBLE! 10% an hour! I put it on my wrist last night before bed and the battery didn't last 7 hours! It drained to zero and vibrated me awake as it turned off and told me to charge it. I fully charged it again, and it's using about 10% of battery in the last 40 minutes. What a waste of money!

Galaxy WatchLike many others - I own the Bluetooth GWC4 46mm - I get ~2-2.5 days and cannot complain. After the last update, though (US version), I did observe significant battery drain. I rebooted it and since then it went back to at least 2 days of battery life (AOD off; continuous HR; Wifi, gps and NFC off; most gestures enabled: Raise wrist and turn bezel; Screen on auto brightness).
I suspect that either you got a bad device, or there is some watchface or app that is draining the battery fast. I suggest you reset the watch and for a 1-2 days do not load any watchfaces or apps. If you still observe significant drain, I recommend you get it exchanged. Good luck!
