Galaxy Watch 4 Classic - CANNOT SIGN INTO SAMSUNG ACCOUNT

I am signed into my Samsung account on my phone- no problem.
The watch is not signed in somehow, I click "add Samsung account" and it says "check your phone" but NOTHING HAPPENS and the watch goes back to the last screen. I can't update anything because I'm not signed in somehow.

Did you try signing into your watch from the Wear app?  Try deleting the watch from the wear app and reconnecting it.  I have this weird glitch, where my watch *is* signed into the watch, and it shows when I check my account on the watch and in the wear app, but the app keeps telling me to sign in to my Samsung account and removes my profile pic.  When I go through some motions, the pic comes back.  I think it's related to the last security update where my battery stats disappear.  Everything works properly, though.  I can update apps and I can make settings changes.  

 

Did you recently get a security update?
