I have my Galaxy Watch 4 to chime on the hour, but it also causes my phone to beep on the hour. I configured the Wear app on my Galaxy S20+ phone to "Mute notifications on phone", but it still makes a second sound along with my watch. How can I get my watch to chime without my phone also chiming?
I may have solved my own problem. I turned off my phone, then I turned off my watch. Then I turned on my phone and then turned on my watch. It looks like that caused the "mute notifications" to finally take effect. At the top of the hour, my watch chimed, and I'm pretty sure my phone didn't. I wasn't really paying attention. I will check again in an hour.
