Does anyone know how to get animated gif support in the Galaxy Watch 4 Messenger(s)? I've tried the Samsung Messenger and the native Google Messenger and none of the animated gifs I receive are working but they're fine on the phone.
Thank you for reaching out. I can certainly understand your frustration with the messages app not on you watch not working as expected. After further research we are able to locate the ability to receive and send gifs from the watch. When you go to the messaging app, tap on the emoji's smiley face, at the top there are 3 options: emojis, stickers, and gifs, then it will show the most recent gifs. This feature won't allow you to search but it will allow you to send different gifs that are available
Be sure to click " ✓ Accept as Solution" when you find an answer that works for you.

This doesn't help with the S22+ with Google messenger being the default messaging app. The GW4 version of the Google messenger app is not showing GIF support.
