Why do none of my watch faces on my Galaxy Watch 6 show seconds on any face. Even when I have always on display, on.
I'm an EMT and use seconds in certain scenarios. I have to wear a 2nd digital watch just to have seconds to count.
Why can't this be an option to either switch on or just also show when Always on. Always on shows a dimmed or darker verion of literally everything else on the watch face except seconds.....
It would be nice to not have to wear 2 watches. I'm pretty sure Apple watches have this option.
Can we get this update please or tell me if there is a workaround or option I'm missing?

You can download watch faces that have seconds from the Playstore.

Use them when you are working!

I have ones that count seconds when the display is lit up.
But if I'm looking at it for example checking a pulse and it isn't in a position it thinks is in use it dims or goes to sleep and it loses the seconds. Is there one that shows seconds even when it's "asleep"?

There are many watch faces on the Playstore that have seconds. Turn off adaptive brightness, and set screen time out to 1 minute. That should be long enough to take a pulse. You can always, while on shift, turn on AOD.

If it has seconds in the watch face, of course, the seconds continue otherwise the time would be wrong.

Robin, I tested several watch faces with seconds. The instant it goes into the AOD, the seconds counter goes away and only the normal time stays. This is stupid and unacceptable for those that need the seconds to show. That, along with the short screen time out, makes smart watches unusable for healthcare professionals. The rest of us don't notice it because we don't rely on that feature.

I just performed some tests with a few watch faces. The only thing I can suggest is to use a face where you can add complications and add either the timer complication or the stopwatch complication. Both will remain visibly counting when the AOD activates.  Adding the complication to the watch face makes for quick access, both from the AOD and the unlocked face.

That's not the worst idea. I believe this should be an option in settings to allow seconds. If it saves battery fine, but make it an option to override.

I agree. It makes no sense to me that one could deliberately choose a watch with seconds and not have the feature available on the AOD.

It's a smartwatch. At least give me all the features of a watch among all the crazy cool and useful things it can do...
Appreciate your input. Hopefully someone from Samsung will catch this post or something to make this happen.
