I use my watch 6 classic to track my exercise and also the Samsung wallet to pay at stores. The watch requires a 4 digit code which is fine for security but I have to enter the code to see my bicycle ride progress and that's dangerous and impossible to do

When I take the pin off I have to connect the watch to my phone and activate my credit card on the watch.

This is stupid. Why can't the pin only be required when using the Samsung wallet app on the watch?

@userTS4hxqGuOd Are you certain that your watch has all the updates?

My Galaxy Watch Ultra (2024) requires the PIN when I first put my watch on but then it doesn't require again until I remove the watch.

If you are being asked for your pin repeatedly, then your watch is too loose and it thinks it is not on your wrist.  Either turn wrist detection off, or tighten your watch.  You should only be asked for your pin once a day, when you put the watch on, or more if you continually take off and put on the watch.  You may be asked for the PIN again the first time you open Samsung pay for the day but, again, only once.  Having a watch too loose will also skew your exercise metrics.  Your watch should always be snug but not tight.  There should be no room for movement., but you should be able to slip a folded up $ bill under it.  If you are still continually being asked for your PIN after checking the tightness, try wiping the watch's cache partitiion.
