Hello,

After the latest udpate, when a workout is active in Samsung Health the AoD seems to freeze and the time only updates when I tap the screen

Anyone else have this problem?

Have exactly the same problem,  I've tried resetting the watch and pairing again, but the problem persists.

I've just switched from Apple, so to say I'm disappointed is an understatement where this watch is concerned.

Yes I am having the same issue as well. No matter what exercise I choose, it freezes during an exercise. If there's any workarounds or if there are going to be hot fixes that Samsung is going to release. It would be much appreciated. The screen goes black no aod and the exercise screen freezes during the exercise itself.

I'm hoping this is a bug with the health app, because the AoD works fine with other apps I've tried

Glad to see it's not just me. Sometimes the screen goes dark, other times the screen just freezes after 3 seconds or so. For me, tapping the screen will not get the timer and heart rate to unfreeze. The display will just update every 45 seconds or so. This is making the watch virtually useless for me during a workout.

I have this issue as well and tried the same fixes. Nothing works.

It is very frustrating having a watch to track your heart rate and performance during workouts not fulfilling this basic purpose. But after Samsung bricked all these sound bars with a software update, I should probably be happy the watch still works at all.

Exact same problem after the update, the watch is basically useless to track any workout.

I'm experiencing the same issue with my Galaxy Watch 7 — the screen timer keeps freezing during my workout routines. The timer itself continues to count in the background, but the on-screen display stops updating. This only seems to have started after the latest update, which I believe was on April 15th.

I've already done a full reset and set the watch up as new, thinking it might have been bloated with apps or data, but the issue is still there. The only way I can get the timer to refresh is by pressing the bottom button or rotating my wrist — then after about 10 seconds, it freezes again
