Galaxy Watch Active2 Update broke screen

I installed the latest update for the Galaxy Watch Active2, Version R830OXA1DUH1, last week. Immediately afterward, the screen began registering random touches and inputs and became entirely unusable unless I put it in underwater mode where it wouldn't register screen inputs. I've since unpaired it and performed factory resets at least 3 different times, and while it's no longer registering random inputs, the bottom 1/3 of the screen does not register any touches at all, including the bezel. This is a huge problem, since it means, for example, that I can't put in an alarm, since the "save" button to enter the alarm is in the lower portion of the screen that no longer registers any touch inputs and I can't put it in there. The watch is only 3 months old! What can I do to fix this problem? I haven't been able to find any way to uninstall the latest software update.

I understand how frustrating this is.
