my watch: S3 Frontier
I have serious battery drain problem after One UI update. Prior to One UI update, I was getting over 24 hours easily, and immediately after the update, I only got about 6 hours. This doesn't get me through the day. It's is useless now if battery life is stuck at 6 hours. Samsung! I hope you see this message and FIX battery drain problem ASAP or you will lose another loyal customer!!!
I had the same experience with amsung support - "Oh, it can't be software"... Problem being when the battery drains at the same time every night it's software. if it were hardware then it'd drain all day.
And these suggestions DO NOT WORK to solve that problem. It started immediately after the wearable app updated and it happend during the night while I sleep. I am unsure how to get Samsung to acknowledge it.
Battery drain problem
Need to fixed it
I update on 29/05/19.
Not in use watch also battery drain fast.
Before 2.5 day running
After the update only 1 day battery is going on.
Very big problem plz fixed it.
Already did all of these and still nothing.
I have the 46mm and from 5.5days of battery i've dropped to not even 3 days (32% usage/ 24h).
My Galaxy Watch is not even 2 months old.
Tomorrow morning i'm taking it in to have it reflashed with the old OS
^^That is not a troubleshooting guide. That is a "did you try a restart" guide.
I also have had this issue since the last update and yes, of course, I tried rebooting both devices. I'm not a total moron. There looks like a hundred people or more complaining in the forums so this is clearly something systemic. After we get past the "not my fault" pass the blame bits, has anybody actually looked into this? Bugs happen. I just want to know that it is being addressed and not pushed off like it isn't affecting anyone. If it is update related, can we roll back?
My Galaxy Watch does not last more than a day. It's fully charged every night and by 5 pm, it's done. I only have 4 basic app notifications coming to the watch, Always on and wake up off. I've done all the tips and suggestions, but does not help.
Any fix? What is going on?
Have you tried resetting the watch and uninstalling and reinstalling the Wearables app?
You can try these steps to help with the battery drain: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01003232/
I've tried all of those. None work.Like clockwork the battery drains at an expected rate during the day but at night it drains at roughly twice as fast while I sleep. This started immediately after the wearable app on my phone updated so I suspect this is a software problem. We need a fix.
