Same problem here only had this watch 3 months. Frontier S3. Updated Monday night and left on charge till Tuesday morning by 12pm Tuesday is was down to 45% and dead by 3pm the watch normally lasts me 3-4 days. This is a disaster Samsung it needs fixing asap.
My watch showed 100% despite already 1 hour usage. Will see how the day goes
UPDATE: after 10 hours plus, I still hve 72% left. For, this is quite normal for me as my watch usually can last 2 to 3 days.
Same here. Performed a reset and that helped a little but nowhere near the battery life I was getting before the update. I went from about 3 days before the update to barely 2 days, so I'm faring better than others here.
When I don't charge the battery overnight, the battery drains about 12%. Previously it was 5-6%.
I wish I hadn't updated since all I notice is a cosmetic changes.
Hopefully Samsung is looking into this.
My Galaxy Watch is only 3 months old and I recently noticed that since the One UI update my battery only just lasted the day maybe 20% (battery manager said 1 day on a full charge), where as before it would have still been 80-85% after a full days use (with the battery manager saying it would last 2.5 days on a full charge).
But I read that backing up your watch and factory resetting may solve the problem, so I went ahead with it this morning, and the good news is that it seems to have worked! It went a full day 0800-2300 with 85% remaining!! And the battery manager now saying it would last 2.5 days on a full charge.
Give it a go! I have noticed that people have had mixed results, but it definitely worked in my case.
