Galaxy Watch - Can't reply to notifications

I just got a watch 6 classic, which has worked great except for this one thing. Whenever I try to reply to a notification from an app, it just says "Couldn't complete action." and my reply doesn't go through. This happens on every app that I've tried. Sending a response directly through the app, such as Google messages, works fine, but it's annoying that I can't just reply directly to the notification. Has anyone else had this issue, or know how to fix it? Thanks.

Also try a wipe cache partition on your phone!

Turn power off phone.

While powered down, press power key and volume up button simultaneously until the phone vibrates. Let go of buttons. You will now be in the bootloader. Using Volume buttons for scrolling, power button for Yes.
Scroll down to Wipe Cache Partition. Press power, scroll to Yes, press power. Reboot press power key.

I also use Google Messages on both my watch and my Phone (with RCS enabled), but it doesn't work. I'll have to try WhatsApp

Have you looked for updates to these apps in the Playstore on your watch?

Open the Playstore app on your watch, and scroll down to manage apps and look for updates.

Also, make sure you look for updates to Google Play System. There are updates pretty frequently, sometimes 2 in one week for your phone. Google sends hot fixes through these play system updates

This actually seems to have fixed it! I'm not sure if clearing the watch's cache or the phone's is what did it because I did them both, but either way, replying to notifications is working now. Thank you very much!
