Galaxy Watch Not Vibrating with Samsung Messages

Since last week or longer can't remember, my Galaxy Watch has stopped vibrating for incoming text messages when using the Samsung Messages app on my Galaxy Z Fold 5. All notification and vibration settings are correctly enabled on both the watch and phone. I have rebooted both watch and phone. I’ve also tested with a brand-new watch—same issue thinking my watch was brocken (wasted my money I guess). However, when I switch to Google Messages as the default SMS app, notifications and vibrations work perfectly. This suggests the problem lies with Samsung Messages and how it syncs with the watch. I like the layout and feel of Samsung Messages and hate the Google Messages. Anyone know what to do?? I also cleared catch and data on Samsung Messages still not working. Everything is up to date on both devices.

This is related to the upgrade, I have the same issue. Samsung support wasn't able to resolve and had me send logs through the members app. It's very frustrating and I've spent hours tweaking and checking notifications on my watch and phone trying to get it to work. You're not alone

I'm having the same issue with my s24 plus phone and galaxy watch 7. After the one UI update, text notifications on my watch stopped working. All other notifications on my watch are working. Only text notifications from the messages app stopped. Someone please help

I upgraded my phone (from S22 Ultra to S25 Ultra) and watch (Samsung Watch 3 to Samsung Watch 7) as I thought it was a device issue! I'm still having problems not receiving notifications on my watch!!UGH!

Anyone have a solution to this? I am having the same problem with my s24 ultra and just bought the watch 7 thinking my watch 6 was the problem. I am really hoping I don't have to switch to Google messages!

I also have had this problem since the update. The Samsung messages appear on my watch but there is no vibration or sound to let me know it arrived. I have switched to Google messages but I keep trying to switch back in case it has resolved. I am trying to embrace, but I just don't like Google messages. Following to see if anyone may come up with a fix.
