Galaxy Watch One UI8 Tile Issue

I have the galaxy watch ultra from last year and just downloaded the new One UI8. For some reason I can only have one page of tiles that scroll vertically. The Watch won't add another column of tiles even if they have nothing to do with the first row of tiles.

One UI8 may not have been pushed out to the Watch 6 yet.

Not having OneUI8 for my watch 7 yet, I do not know what you are referring to.  The way tiles scroll on my watch is horizontally.  Are you saying you can now add additional tiles to a related tile?  Like you can have the health app tile, and then sub tiles for the different health categories?  If that's the case, the other tiles you have selected to show on  your watch may not have sub tiles and this would be why you cannot add any.

With the new update, you are supposed to be able to have tiles both horizontally like we already have and vertically. I've tried adding a tile unrelated to the health category, but it still just puts them in the one vertical list of tiles.

Maybe it's like the phone where you can have the apps vertical or horizontal but not both?  Perhaps someone who already has either the update or the watch 8 will chime in.

I have the watch 7 ultra with ui 8 and I can add tiles vertically. I just swipe up on the tile and tap the + to add another tile. And it can be a tile that is completely unrelated to the first tile.

So, it sounds like you can have a horizontal scroll row or a vertical scroll row, but not a row in each direction, like the app drawer on the phone.

When I swipe up and add a new tile, it is added directly beneath that tile. So I can swipe up and down between those tiles, but I still cam swipe left and right with the other tiles still.

Perhaps you can only have one vertical and one horizontal row/column.  I can't experiment, as I do not have the OneUI watch update yet.  I imagine if you could have more than one vertical column, there would be a "+" under then next horizontal tile.  Not for nothing, but it sounds like it would be a horrible mish-mash, as the whole point of the tiles is quick access to your most frequently used apps.
