I have an approxamately 1 year old galaxy watch. Yesterday while driving the watch got so hot on the back that it burned me. I powered down the watch. I have charged it and updated it. I turned it back on this morning and it got so hot that I could not touch it.
Oh no! Please send a private message with the model code and the serial number or IMEI number of the watch so I may look into this further! http://bit.ly/2XERsky
This is happening to others as well. I had this issue yyesterday. I kept getting shocks to my arms. I figured out it is the battery shocking me then the burning smell. Samsung wants me to pay for repair. This is crazy. I thought I was the only one. I see it's happening to many in the last few days. Which tells me it's a Samsung issue not a your watch is out of warrantly issue.
Thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear about the symptoms you are experiencing. I would be happy to assist you further. Can I please have your full model number and serial number/IMEI in a private message: http://bit.ly/2JH2rq2
