Galaxy WatchBeen using my Galaxy Watch daily for workouts, work, and everything in between—and I started noticing a few micro-scratches on the display after just a couple of weeks. I’m not even rough with it, but I guess regular use takes a toll.
Didn’t really want to use a bulky case, so I ended up trying a screen protector from Gadgetshieldz. Wasn’t expecting much, but it actually fit well and didn’t mess with the touch sensitivity. It’s not invisible—you can tell there’s something on the screen—but it’s saved me from more scratches for sure.
If you're in the same boat and want something low-profile, it might be worth looking into a screen guard. Would love to know if anyone’s tried something similar or found better options!

Galaxy WatchIt's not just scratches that a screen protector guards against. After time and normal use, the oleophobic coating wears off, and a screen protector keeps this from happening. On my watch 4, I eventually used a tempered glass disk and was fine with it. When I switched to the watch 7, it was not as attractive, so I opted for interchangeable cases to see how that worked out. I can change the look of the watch to make it look less plain. I'm still undecided whether I want to return to the disk, but this is working for me for the moment.

Galaxy Watch@aravindcore I guess that I have been super lucky but I've never had an issue with scratches on any of my Samsung watches. The non-smart watches I wore before show plenty of scratches over time.

Galaxy WatchI never had any scratches either, despite constantly banging the watch 4 into things. The only reason I put the disk on it was because of my pool swimming and normal touches, the oleophobic coating wore off. The product I bought to refresh it didn't work (or I didn't apply it properly), and I wanted it nice and shiny again.
