I had never had any problem with watches, metals, or plastics. I wore my watch over night to track my sleep and it is what I got. The skin looks like burned and hasn't got better after a couple of days. (It itches too)
Not sure what can be done, but really feel disappointed and wanted to warn other users too.

Galaxy Watch
I am having exactly the same problem, red raw marks that look like burns, the main one is where the strap tucks in but I have others where the edge of the strap sits.
I've tried loosening, tightening, moving where the watch sits up my arm and washing the strap, but I still have it and nothing helps.
I'm not allergic to silicon so don't know what's causing it but would love to find a solution.

Galaxy WatchIt's from moisture trapped against the skin because the band isn't breathable. Take a sniff of your band. It gets nasty! Our skin isn't meant to deal with plastic up against it. You may find a non silicone replacement band or a silicone one with a lot of holes eliminates the problem. My dedicated sport watches have a lot more holes in the band to let moisture out. Also wear it looser and keep the skin dry under the band. If I wear mine to bed, I put on a cloth band I bought from Amazon.

Galaxy WatchHi
I just got my Samsung active 2 watch two days ago but I already took it off because of skin irritation. 24hrs after I had worn it it started feeling uncomfortable - like a burning sensation where I wore the watch. Then it started itching and now some small cuts from scratching, so I took it off and applied some lotion to alleviate the itch.
It looks like others had this already. Is Samsung doing anything about this? I was really excited about the watch only to get my excitement crashed. Do I return the watch? Does Samsung provide accessories to help with this? Thanks for your help.

Galaxy WatchI have also developed irritation, cuts, and what looks like burns on my writs after wearing the Active 2 for the past 5 weeks. I was super excited to move on from my Fitbit after having it for 2 years, but after this experience, I am not pleased with the Active 2. I have tried switching between both writs, cleaning it daily, taking it off for a few hours a day and switching bands, but have not had any success in getting rid of the problem or healing completely. I am not on a hiatus for about a week to see if this fixes the problem. Samsung, do you have any support to offer at this point? Any direction for other possible bands? Anything?

Galaxy WatchHey, within the last week I started getting a rash under where my watch is. What's really weird is it wasn't there until recently so I don't know if a coating or something wore down but googled it to see if anyone else has had the issue and noticed I am not alone. Is there the right place to seek heko
