My Galaxy Watch Ultra on latest AYCD version intermittently refuses to wake when I tilt my wrist to check it. The setting for this is in Settings - Display - Screen wake up - Raise wrist to wake.

The setting continues to randomly turn itself OFF. I have to turn it on in Settings again just to wake it up when I tilt my wrist. There is no known one condition causing it, and the issue has persisted over several firmware versions. Am I the only person experiencing this?

I contacted Samsung via tech support text - and the very first option provided was to factory reset the watch. That should be a last resort, not the first step! Does anyone here know if the Galaxy Watch Ultra's Wear OS recovery console has an option to wipe the system cache? I'll try that before wiping my watch.

Mak sure that a Mode like Sleep and Movie isn't active. That will disable Raise wrist to wake.

I have Sleep Mode automated to turn on and off at certain times, so it's not active throughout the daytime. I never go to the movies, so I don't use any other modes regularly. This happens at completely random times.

When this happens, check your phone to see if the sleep mode icon is showing in the status bar. Sometimes the mode between watch and phone get disconnected.

I will check that and provide an update. Thanks

I only manually activate and deactivate Sleep mode on the watch screen. But a few weeks ago I had Sleep mode stay enabled on my phone even though I turned it off via the watch. Turning it off on the phone cleared the issue.

This is happening to me too.
Yesterday it turned on my AOD

I have wiped cache partition 2 times to no avail.

Next I will do a factory reset.
