Galaxy Watch stops tracking workout during exercise

My Galaxy Watch is about 6 months old, and has stopped tracking exercise time. It will run anywear from a minute to 5 minutes, and then stops and ends the workout. Treadmill, Elliptical, Circuit Training, etc. It mysteriously started after my phone received an Android Security Update. Ive cleaned the sensors, nothings working. Please help-

If not done already, do a complete power down, un-sync watch at phone, then power up watch and sync again.
