Galaxy watch 5/6/7/Ultra not sending or receiving texts/delays in notifications

Why can't I send or receive texts when my phone is turned off?? I have a galaxy watch 6 classic and a fold 5. I a cannot send or receive texts messages when my phone is turned off. I have tried Samsung messaging app and Google Messaging app. Either works. I have had older model watches 3, 4 and 5. All LTE through At&t. They all worked fine in this situation. So I don't understand why Samsung would take this option away for for it's latest devices!!! They need to fix this ASAP!!!

Glad to know I am not the only one 🫤. Samsung keeps telling me wait for the next update, but couldn't tell me when that will happen. I called my cell phone provider, they said so many Samsung customers are calling in with the exact same problem. I've never had any issues with any of my Samsung devices until this. Its so frustrating!!!!

I couldn't agree more with you!!!! They need to get on the new update as of 4 days ago! I'm over it already! My husband is an apple person and I have always argued how Samsung is better 😆 😆 (not that one is particularly better than the other but it's pure fun) So he has been loving the fact that everything has been so messed up since this last update. He keeps telling me to switch and honestly I'm tempted now. I still don't think I would go Apple though I'll probably try a Google Pixel if I have to. 🥴

Yes. I called Samsung 5 times with a phone time of 2 hours. They said nothing they could do. Its related to the update and I have to wait till another update comes out to fix this current one. Samsung employees are useless, they did nothing. I got more information from my phone provider.

Even with this new update my s6 watch is still have the same issues. Not getting texts or email notifications. It's started with the last update, I was told by Samsung wait until the new update comes out. Emailed Samsung, and they said they will pass the info on and wait for a reply. We'll, here we are same issues are occurring. 

My cache is clear. Samsung get your **bleep** together!!!!!!!!

Have had this problem for many months. I'll get delayed notifications and then they'll repeatedly notify me. An example, hours after using my oven I will get a notification that the pre-heat temp has been reached. And then it'll alert me the same several times an hour sometimes for several hours. How can I fix this?
