Hi,

I have a bug to report.

The watch is counting steps while choosing cycling exercise along with tracking the cycling activity. Its double counting the calories as well. I have auto detection on but it should not be tracking steps while any other exercise mode is on.

Is there a way to fix it? This is very annoying.

Thank you for reaching out and welcome to the community. I can certainly understand your concern with your Samsung Health app counting steps while cycling, and I would be happy to look into this further for you. The first step I would recommend is clearing the cache on the Samsung Health and wearables app. Go to settings > apps > select one of the two apps to start > tap on force stop > then tap on storage and clear cache. Follow the same steps for the other app.

If you have tried clearing the cache and are still experiencing these symptoms, the next step would be a factory reset. All of your personal data will be removed and the watch will restore back to its default settings, so you won't have to worry about personal info still being on it. You can reset your watch using the Settings or Reboot mode on the watch, or with the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone. Give this link a try for steps to reset your watch: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00084702/

If you have tried resetting your watch and are still experiencing these symptoms, I would recommend reaching out to Samsung Health using the contact information in this link: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Samsung-Apps-and-Services/Samsung-Support-Acknowledgement/td-p/2...
