Galaxy watch not connecting to galaxy apps.

JUMP TO SOLUTION

Just bought a galaxy watch. Everytime i try to open the galaxy apps app, the loading screen comes on for a few seconds and then it shows " Couldn't connect. Check your network connection and try again". The watch is connected via wi-fi and bluetooth.

 

Any help is much appreciated guys

Have you tried clearing the cache and data on the Gear Manager application? You can do that by going to Settings>Apps>Gear Manager on your phone, then pressing Storage. The options to clear the cache and data are in there.

Yes, I just bought the device yesterday. And there was an update straight away.

I too have an android phone where clearing the cache doesn't work. I have disconnected bluetooth and reconnected etc but now all my watch will say is connecting

@user8KMHsAxblE What type of device are you using with your Galaxy watch? Have you tried force stopping and clearing the cache and data for the Galaxy wearables app? Have you tried resetting the network settings? Just a heads up, by resetting the network settings, it will remove all wi-fi and Bluetooth settings you currently have saved.
