I can't express how much I hate the new UI, it looks like some hot garbage and I wonder how stupid the people are that approved this design. First of all the new pill tiles or whatever they are called look like some straight buns, how do you expect us to read on an already small display even smaller text. Also, the heart thing is way smaller and converted into a stupid pill now which also sucks because I really liked the fullscreen heart but samsung UI designers hate fun and good design. I really whish there was a way to get rid of this insanly ridiculous update that no one asked for. SAMSUNG WAKE UP AND BRING BACK GOOD DESIGN!!!!  Why in god name would you go from a nice design that fits a galaxy watch to just making it a brick and making it look like something for phones??? And the recent apps BRICK you get on top of the apps list THAT NO ONE USES OR ASKED FOR AND THERE IS NO OPTION TO DISABLE IT(europe region to my knowlege). Samsung please just give an option to go back to the old UI's everyone loved and stop approving the designs your internship people made(idk what they are called). J

Change can be difficult, especially when it is unwanted or unexpected.

Most of the visual changes, including the "pills") were made to adhere to Google's updated M3E design guidelines.

Reverting to the legacy look is not an option because doing so would mean Samsung defying Google's guidance. Maintaining a positive relationship between the two companies is crucial because One UI is built on Android, which is a Google product, and requires Google apps/services to function.

If you find the daily activity stack is too small, the recommended workaround is to add a daily activity complication to your preferred watchface. This allows you to open full screen activity info with a single tap.

So the product was intentially made worse on purpose and you are now saying deal with it? That sucks

I can understand why you might feel that way.

As previously stated, Samsung's relationship with Google requires them to design their software to cohere with Google's design guidelines.

I have offered a workaround for a single tap solution via complications. This is the solution I personally use.

If you are displeased with these changes, you can make your voice heard by visiting the Support tab in the Members App on your Galaxy device and navigating to "Send Feedback."

I have submitted a "send feedback" and I'm waiting on a response. After speaking with a few different people through the customer support line, it is clear that this is being done intentially to make old watches obsolete and force customers to purchase new ones. It's a shady practice. What i believe they should do is not force these updates on old watches and to give an option to revert the device to a software designed for it. I'm not holding out much hope for my feedback. I expect them to tell me the same thing.

The so-called "update" killed my Watch 4 battery life. Lucky to get 8 hours before it dies.
