Galaxy watch overheating

i have had my watch for a year abd suddenly it said it was overheating and started burning my wrist 5 seconds later then turns off. Keeps doing this i cant use it. Nothing has happened. Wore it overnight then when i woke up i tried to use it and it started doing that.
