Gear s3 melted.

My husband just discovered the charger to our gear s3 melted/burnt. There is also a burn spot on our nightstand. This is extremely concerning and I've found that this has happened to multiple people! Is Samsung doing anything to fix this issue or has there been a recall? So scary to have had this happen and to know this could have been extremely bad for my family and home had it actually caught fire!!

Sorry that happened to you. I just checked my charger for my gear S3 and it looks perfect. I'm not sure if the cable going into it is the original one or if it's just another one that I had laying around. it will be interesting to see if other people experienced the defect like you. Hopefully Samsung does something to resolve this for you. Good luck!

edit:. Before sending I just did a quick search for you. Apparently this is a common problem and Samsung appears to be aware of it. Let us know what they do for you.
