I just moved to a new phone, a Google pixel 4a, and since the move, the Samson health Has not been uploading my workouts. It will upload steps and automatically recognized workouts, but not when I manually start a workout such as walking. at the same time, I got the big update on the watch so don't know if that's part of the problem. I can't find anything about this on the support site.  thanks for any help-Sally

We can't speculate about the compatibility of Android 11 with our Samsung Apps and devices.

What version of Android are you using on their Pixel 4a?

do you mean to say that even though the Samsung galaxy watch which needs to be paired with an app on an android phone to work well, isn't designed to be compatible with android? This is hard to believe, and I am frustrated that you consider this an answer.

This will definitely make me reconsider any future purchase of aSamsung wearable.

also the problem is between a Samsung galaxywatch and the Samsung health app.  Everything else works well between the phone and the watch-I get text messages and phone calls on the watch. And automatically detected workouts upload to the app, it is just workouts that I manually start. There must be some setting to make those also sync.

I don't accept this as a solution - there is no solution! But I have given up on Samsung health app, and have moved to using Strava, which gives great details and has a website that you can see everything on-something Samsung health app doesn't have.

As foolish as it may sound, the only reason I rolled the dice on my Active 2 was because I use a Samsung phone. I fugued, if the watch doesn't work with what then was the latest Samsung phone, then what would it work with? It did and does. These days, device compatibilty cannot be guarenteed by any maker, regardless of the OS version you are running. This is a major drag, I know, but there it is. I'd be dollars to donuts that if you paired your watch with any current Samsung mobile device, all would be well. Major OS updates tend to cause these issues, even today. Good luck!
